Fehler Code 80040154 Vista Windows Update

Herzlich willkommen
Hallo,
wenn ich Vista Windows Update starte, erscheint immer die Meldung "Suche nach Updates ist nicht möglich". Eine Internetverbindung besteht, daran kann es nicht liegen. Die installierten Windows Updates werden auch nicht angezeigt unter "Installierte Updates" es erscheint die Meldung auf dem Computer sind keine Updates installiert. Was nicht stimmt. Bei Updatesuche kann ich jedoch unter "Updateverlauf anzeigen" die Updates ansehen, die geladen und installiert wurden. Merkwürdig ist, dass als Datum der 29.11.08 angegeben ist. Jedoch Updates (Defender) auch noch im Dezember angezeigt wurden. Ich habe jetzt einfach mir das Dr.Vista Updatepack in Vollversion runtergeladen und installiert. Diese Updates werden auch nicht angezeigt und die Fehlercode 80040154 weiterhin angezeigt. Eine manuelles registrieren der DLL Dateien funktionierte auch nicht. Bei der Registrierung der DLL fiel mir auf, dass die wuaueng1.dll, wucltui.dll und wuweb.dll auf dem Rechner fehlten. Die habe ich mir aus dem Internet besorgt und installiert.
Eine Suche und eine Installation von Updates ist somit nicht möglich.

Hallo und herzlich Willkommen :),

die Deaktivierung, für die Zeit des Updates, des Windows Defenders sollte
hier helfen:

Systemsteuerung -> Verwaltung -> Dienste -> R-Klick auf 'Windows Defender'
-> von 'Automatisch' auf 'Deaktiviert' wechseln -> Übernehmen -> OK ->
PC-Neustart -> Update starten
 
Hallo Franz, Danke für den Tip. Eigentlich benutze ich den Defender nicht, da dieser in den Sicherheitseinstellungen deaktiviert ist. Aber ich schaue mal alles genau durch. Ich hatte Kaspersky Internt S. 2009 drauf und jetzt Norton Internet S. 2009. Werde mir die Einstellungen noch mal zu Gemüte führen. Da ich in dieser Richtung auch schon Vermutungen angestellt habe.

Ergänzung- Auf bei ausgeschalteten Defender in der Systemsteuerung bleibt leider das Problem bestehen.
Hat jemand Tips für eine möglichst unproblematische Neuinstallation von Vista?

Du hast ja auch Norton auf dem PC.
Sicheritsprogramme haben einen Eigenschutz in den Einstellugen,
damit ihre Daten nicht überschrieben werden.
Diesen Eigenschutz muß du deaktivieren
(eigentlich ersetzt genau der Defender fast komplett den Norton).
Leider weiß ich nicht, wo der Eigenschutz in den Einstellungen zu finden ist,
da ich Norton nicht benutze.
 
Selbst bei komplett deaktivierten Norton bekomme ich keine Updateverbindung. Ich habe auch bei MS den Fehlercode nicht gefunden. Wahrscheinlich komme ich um eine Neuinstallation nicht herum. Zum Glück habe ich noch genügend andere PCs und nur den einen mit Vista. ;))
 
Was du noch versuchen kannst, ist

Start -> Ausführen ->
Code: 
Regsvr32 %windir%\system32\msxml3.dll
eingeben -> OK -> PC Neustart
 
Leider auch keine Wirkung.
Werde wohl um eine Neu-Installation nicht rumkommen.
