Surface Laptop 7: Erstes Firmware-Update für die Intel-Variante

Seit vergangener Woche ist das Surface Laptop 7 auch in einer Version mit Intel-Prozessor zu haben, die den Zusatz „for Business“ trägt. Jetzt hat Microsoft das erste Update für das Gerät veröffentlicht.

Zwischen der Produktion der ersten Geräte und der Auslieferung an die Kunden verstreicht einige Zeit, und so wundert es nicht, dass dieses Update recht umfangreich ausfällt. Es werden verschiedene Fehler und Probleme beseitigt sowie Sicherheitslücken geschlossen.

Das Changelog im Detail:

  • Behebt verschiedene Probleme, die zu einer unerwarteten Drosselung der Geräteleistung führten.
  • Behebt Audioprobleme, die bei Teams- oder Zoom-Anrufen zu Tick- oder Knallgeräuschen führten.
  • Behebt ein Problem, das dazu führte, dass der Startvorgang länger als erwartet dauerte.
  • Behebt ein Problem, das zu einem vollständigen Verlust der Audioausgabe auf Geräten führen kann, wodurch die Verwendung von Lautsprechern oder Kopfhörern verhindert wird.
  • Unterstützt PXE-Start, wenn es mit dem Surface USB4 Dock for Business verbunden ist.
  • Behebt ein Problem, das dazu führte, dass eine weiße Linie nach dem Schließen und Öffnen des Deckels oder dem Drücken der Ein-/Aus-Taste kurzzeitig flackerte.
  • Behebt ein Problem, das verhinderte, dass die Bluetooth-Maus während eines Teams-Anrufs wie erwartet funktionierte.
  • Behebt ein Problem, bei dem die Touch-Funktion nach dem Reaktivieren des Systems aus dem Ruhezustand, Neustart oder Hochfahren verloren ging und ein Neustart zur Wiederherstellung erforderlich war.
