Habe gerade eine Mail reinbekommen, nach der ich mein Outlook 2016 (Office Outlook) mit Outlook.com neu verbinden soll.
Hat die noch wer bekommen?
Es hieß doch, das von sein des Anwenders keine Aktion von Nöten sein wird...
Die Mail ist "benutzerfreundlich" in englisch geschrieben.
Ich soll in Outlook.com ein neues Profil anlegen und dann mein Account hinzufügen.
So ganz genau kann ich das nicht nachvollziehen, dazu ist mein Englisch etwas mangelhaft.
Wo ist der Unterschied zwischen Profil und Account?
Oder ist das ganze womöglich gefälscht?
Ist schon merkwürdig, das da keine deutsche Mail kommt.
Hier mal einen Auszug aus der Anleitung:
Option 1: If Outlook.com is the primary or only account you are accessing via Outlook 2016/2013:
o Create a new Outlook profile and then add your Outlook.com account when prompted.
o Note that you do not need to delete the old profile first and can refer to it to get the new one set up. Once you have the new profile set up, you should select to "Always use this profile" option, or delete the old profile.
Option 2: If you have multiple accounts in an Outlook 2016/2013 profile:
o First, remove your account from your existing profile. Refer to "Remove an email account" section of this article.
o Then, re-add your Outlook.com account to your existing profile.
Note: For both the options above, when you add your account (via File > Account), enter your Name, Email, and Password and let Outlook automatically configure your account.
Am Ende versprechen sie dann noch, das eine Mail in der bevorzugen Sprache folgen wird...
